The Dutch are the World's Tallest People

It's official - the people of The Netherlands are the tallest in the world. The average Dutch man measures 184 cms - or just over 6 feet, and the average Dutch woman measures 170.8 cms or just over 5 foot 7 inches.
The next tallest are the Scandinavians - the men in Sweden, Norway and Denmark for example average 179 - 180 cms or about 5 foot 11 inches. But - unlike the Dutch - the Scandinavians seem to have stopped growing, having averaged the same height for the last 40 years or so. Some way behind in the league of heights come North American and British men who average around 176 cms - or about 5 foot 9 -10 inches.
So the question is why are the Dutch so tall - and why are they still growing???
1 in every 1000 young Dutch men is over 2 metres or 6 foot 6 and-a-half inches tall.

Even in a country as small as Holland there are noticeable differences in height between the people in the north of The Netherlands and the people of the south. The latest study revealed a 5 cms or 2 inch difference not gained by ( pills for growth ) in height between the young men in the northern provinces of The Netherlands - and those of the south just 400 kilometres or 250 miles away. Young Dutch women show a 3 cms or 1.5 inch difference. So why should this be?
Dr Machteld Roede is a Human Biologist at the University of Maastricht and an auxologist. She suggests that this difference is due less to genetic factors than to a simple factor which is currently being used by most celebrities.

The Chinese are the Shortest People

This is something weare trying to understand, how the Chinese and the world view a short person or how a short person is received in both cultures, or if there is any difference.

People based in mainland China, Can recall their personal experience when at school.

When it comes to social life after school, since there are so many short people in China, women under 1.60m, and men under 1.70m, I mean in the South of China, it seems to be that people don't really care how tall you are, and you don't really feel you are looked down upon by a taller person.

However, in the west, from what I've heard, you are very likely predjudiced because of your size, precisely, if you are short. A school kid may come back home and tell his or her parents that he/she was beaten that day by big kids with no reason. And in social life, the tall people sometimes feel superior to the people who are one head shorter than them. The most things that a short person hears is probably "stand up", partly as a joke, but this might sound an offender to the short person.

Is this perception correct???

Anyway, we hope you are not offended by the above if you are considered among the short categories and located in the west; and TIME feel perfectly comfortable with your. It's totally up to you, if you feel that it would be good to get a height increase click below.
